Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in production operations. This role acts as a bridge between design engineering and production, ensuring that products are manufactured cost-effectively while meeting quality standards. The Manufacturing Engineer will analyze workflows, troubleshoot production issues, introduce new technologies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing performance.

Essential

Functions
  • Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation
  • Partner with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products, supporting prototypes and scaling up to full production
  • Provide technical support to production teams to resolve issues with equipment, materials, or processes
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to ensure all processes meet quality standards and customer requirements
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Ensure processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Recommend and implement cost-saving projects and efficiency enhancements
  • Use data-driven analysis to monitor production metrics and drive improvements
  • Specify, purchase, and implement manufacturing equipment, jigs, and tooling
  • Work closely with design, quality, operations, and supply chain teams to meet company goals.
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Technical degree in manufacturing engineering, production support, operations or equivalent business experience
    • 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
