Production Technician For Blast
A Production Technician for Blast is accountable for processing customer parts per customer requirements while maintaining quality inspections and meeting production rate requirements.

Key Responsibilities | Tasks You Do To Achieve The Accountabilities
- Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded
- Continuously monitor each step of production process to ensure quality of parts
- Responsible for start-up of Blast jobs
- Communicate with other technicians within department to share needed information throughout workday
- Responsible for visually monitoring tanks and communicating issues with the Production Shift Supervisor
- Maintain a clean line, free of clutter. Store equipment properly
- Notify the Production Shift Supervisor of any necessary maintenance repairs that are needed
- Properly complete required paperwork
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area
- Keep up to date with required trainings within the LMS system
- Follow proper safety procedures such as wearing Personal Protective Equipment including safety glasses, gloves, respirators or other as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday
Qualities For Success

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be a Citizen of the United States of America or have a current Green Card
- General knowledge of Blast terminology
- Strong attention to detail to ensure safety and quality
- General computer skills and the ability to work with basic computer programs
- Ability to balance workload effectively and stay organized
- Ability to read and understand processes, procedures, and instructions
- Ability to work and collaborate with others respectfully and professionally
- Ability to be dependable and punctual, work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. on occasion
- Ability to use hand tools requiring using fine dexterity and precision
- Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending for 8 hours as the position requires
- Ability to withstand occasional odors
Work Environment
This position location is on the production floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and noise levels that are typically moderate.
