Maintenance Machinist

** Responsible for designing the parts to be made.*
* ** Responsible for machining parts and components to support manufacturing needs. Combines CAD/CAM design with small batch, mixed production hands-on machining using CNC milling and slant bed lathes, welding, and troubleshooting of mechanical issues.*

1st | Mon-Fri | 7am-3:30pm

Pay Range:  **$22-$38/HR*

** What will you be doing?*
* + Ability to set up and operate manual and CNC(Hurco) machining equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, etc.)

+

Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, Solid Works, Mastercam, etc.

+  
** Ability to design and produce parts to precise specifications.*
* + Create and send component drawings to 3 rd  party machining as needed.

+ Experience in small batch, mixed production environments.

+ Perform welding and cutting as needed

+ Fabricate and modify equipment, guards, and fixtures as needed

+ Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations on equipment improvements

+ Support equipment installations, startups, and modifications

+ Document work in CMMS (maintenance management system)

+ Assist with continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
