The Food Technologist role at EnterpriseCP is a full-time, on-site position based in Long Prairie, MN. In this role, the Food Technologist will support the development and optimization of pasta and pasta-based meal solutions, including formulation, ingredient selection, and process improvement. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting sensory evaluations, performing laboratory tests, and documenting results to ensure products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
The role involves collaborating with production, quality, and R&D teams to troubleshoot issues, refine recipes, and support scale-up from pilot to full production. The Food Technologist will also assist in maintaining technical documentation, updating specifications, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in line with company objectives.
- Candidates should possess strong Food Technology and Research and Development (R&D) skills to support product formulation, process optimization, and innovation.
- Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills and Quality Control experience to conduct tests, monitor product standards, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Candidates should possess Sensory Evaluation skills to assess product attributes, support panel testing, and contribute to product improvement decisions.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field are beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and experience in a food manufacturing environment are beneficial.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively on-site, are beneficial.
