Position Summary:

As a Truss Builder at Scherer Bros. Lumber Co., you will play a vital role in constructing roof and floor trusses to meet customer specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, a team-oriented attitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and assemble trusses according to blueprints, plans, and engineering specifications.

Operate various tools and machinery, such as saws, drills, and pneumatic equipment, to cut and assemble truss components.

Ensure all products meet quality control standards and customer specifications.

Work closely with team members to maintain a productive, organized, and safe work environment.

Assist in the maintenance and organization of the work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

Comply with all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints or plans.
