Process Technician

The Process Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in Rush City, MN. This role is responsible for maintaining the control of processes in injection molding, molding/tool changes, set-ups and start ups of molding. Additionally, the Process Technician is required to troubleshoot problems and correct parameters to maintain quality and efficient production.

Plastech Corporation pays on a weekly basis. This position is on a 6&3 rotating schedule which means you will work 6 days and have the next 3 days off in a row!

• • 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm - $27.00-$29.00 per hour DOQ.
• • 2nd Shift - 3:00pm to 11:30pm – $29.00-$31.00 per hour DOQ.
• • 3rd Shift - 11:00pm to 7:30am – $33.00-$35.00 per hour DOQ.
• *** External candidates receive a $5,000 BONUS after 90 days of employment (must meet performance and attendance requirements).

• Three to five years of related injection molding processing experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve equipment and process-related issues in injection molding operations.
• Experience with quality control practices, including visual inspection, use of measurement tools, and adherence to documented specifications and procedures.
• Knowledge of process engineering principles related to injection molding, including setup, optimization of parameters, cycle time reduction, and process documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and production schedules; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety, reliable attendance, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
