Packaging Operator

Pay Rate: $23.50/hour

In this role, you will be responsible for operating packaging equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the efficient operation of the production line.

This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday
1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on business needs.

• Operate packaging equipment, including startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting procedures
• Monitor semi-automated machinery to ensure products are packaged correctly and efficiently
• Verify all packaging components match product specifications and packaging setup requirements
• Perform equipment cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately and legibly
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and operational performance
• Support team objectives and complete additional duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, or warehouse experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
• Willingness to learn new processes and participate in cross-training opportunities
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

• Ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions
• Comfortable working in varying temperature environments
