Welder (Stainless Steel MIG) - Direct Employment

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team building custom equipment for the fertilizer industry. This is a custom fabrication environment , not a fast-paced production shop. You will primarily perform stainless steel MIG welding on fertilizer bins, mixers, conveyors, bucket elevators, rotary drums, and other specialized equipment.

• Perform MIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components.
• Build custom fertilizer bins and related equipment from blueprints and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Weld sheet metal, pipe, plate, and structural components.
• Perform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Work in and around tanks and confined spaces when required.
• Safely handle materials and equipment throughout the fabrication process.

• Previous MIG welding experience, preferably with stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings.
• Experience welding sheet metal, pipe, plate, and structural components.
• Knowledge of flux-core or hardwire welding processes.
• Welding certification, technical diploma, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and around tanks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Custom fabrication experience.
• Stainless steel welding experience.
• Experience working with mild steel and stainless steel materials.
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Glencoe, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
