1st Shift PTA Line Lead Melrose, MN

Legacy Turkey has full-time, benefits eligible,
poultry transfer day lead role is available. This positions will operate and maintain machinery, follow animal care, and animal welfare procedures.

• Monday - Friday and weekends as needed; 3:30am-12pm can very with production
• Repetitive motion, bending, twisting, reaching and lift up to 35lb
• Pay Range: $23.80/HR

• Willing to work towards becoming knowledgeable in product specifications, GMP policies, SSOP procedures and HACCP programs
• Able to handle people management and manage department when Team Leader is out
• Assist with hooking/unhooking cages, operating and crane when needed
• Maintain all required files and keep legible and accurate records
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees by following all safety rules.
• Help ensure only safe, wholesome, quality products are produced for our customers by following all good manufacturing practices.
• Perform position-specific duties as assigned by your supervisor as needed.

• Work 8- to 10-hour shifts on concrete floors.
• Perform repetitive motions such as twisting, turning, bending and reaching.
• Lift items up to 50pounds.
• Wear a hair net, hard hat, ear protection, safety glasses, boots and/or other personal protective equipment.
• Work with large groups of people as a team.
• Good attendance record
