Now hiring for a Lab Technician
Location: Waite Park, MN
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Monday - Friday | 11 AM - 9 PM

As a Lab Technician in Waite Park, you’ll put in real effort and see real results. You’ll help build products people use every day and get paid fair for doing it right.

Come build products using granite and other materials to be used in the semiconductor industry and other industries. You will work in our state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility located in Waite Park, Minnesota. Assemble, inspect, clean, and prepare subcomponents and finished products for shipment as required. Produce precision surfaces on granite components prior to assembly using lapping plates or automated equipment. Monitor products continuously to ensure products are of prescribed quality and meet both Customer and Company expectations, requirements, and standards.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Knowledge of precision measuring equipment a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Lab Technician.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to assemble, which may include stooping, bending, and climbing

As a Lab Technician you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions.
