Artex is looking to grow its Fabricator Team in Redwood Falls, MN! We offer a guaranteed starting wage of $24.27/Hr. along with regular increases and a complete benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, an impressive 401K match and much more!

Monday-Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm, opportunities for voluntary overtime on Fridays

• Read and follow manufacturing and assembly drawings, prints, and instructions
• Adjust machines based on job specifications and material requirements
• Safely and efficiently operate the following fabrication equipment: break press, plasma cutter, drill press, band saw, metal shear, MIG welder, lathe, mill, ironworker, and laser
• Safely load sheet metal into laser cutter using the overhead crane system; remove cut parts and assign part numbers
• Consistently produce parts and assemblies to specifications and pass quality/first article inspections
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifting equipment
• Accurately and legibly complete all paperwork in a timely manner
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of area, as needed
• Work safely and comply with company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and procedures
• Maintain regular and predictable on-site attendance

Situations may arise that require employees to temporarily or permanently assume responsibility for tasks not specifically outlined in this job description. Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normal workload.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
• Experience Operating Metal Fabrication Equipment, Preferred
• Ability to utilize technology to set up and run the laser machine; previous experience, helpful
• Experience operating a forklift, preferred; ability to pass in-house certifications, upon hire
• Experience tack welding, or willingness/ability to learn
• Ability to accurately read and interpret documents (ex: blueprints, instructions, etc.)
• Accurately read a tape measure to a 1/16" with ability to complete basic math equations
• Strong attention to detail and desire to produce high quality components
• Ability to safely operate an overhead crane to move materials
• Must be 18 years of age or older for insurance purposes

• Consistently push and/or pull 50 pounds
• Consistently bend at the waist and/or knees
• Consistently reach and/or twist
• Stand up to 100% of the workday
• Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds from floor to waist level
• Ability to tolerate varying environmental conditions including wet slippery conditions or extreme hot/cold; perform minimal duties outside, year-round
