- Albertville, MN 55301## Overview Salary Range $23.00 - $23.50 Hourly Education Level High School/GEDTravel Percentage None Category Manufacturing ## Position summaryA laborer versed in all areas, responsibilities and functions (standard work) of production assembly at SBTD focusing on Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality and Efficiency. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position

* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
**** Production
* * 1. Assembly of roof and floor trusses according to Standard work
2. Perform plate picker functions
3. Pre-pick plate orders from plate pick lists
4. Prepare odd panels, ends, verticals, bearing block assemblies, blocks ...for floor line
5. Assist and support External set-up position as directed
6. Assist drivers in delivery and/or pickup of product and materials
7. Ride along on deliveries and returns as directed
8. Help load/unload jobs as directed
9. Perform outside stacker function as needed or directed
10. Stack and band trusses off assembly line
11. Make general plate repairs
12. Inspect for Quality issues or concerns and fix if possible or bring to assembly leads attention
13. Assist forklift operators as needed or directed
14. Assist with Cycle counts and full inventories as directed
15. Perform other miscellaneous duties, as assigned
16. Assist in Saw room as directed
** Safety and Wellness
** 1. Continually increase knowledge and awareness of Safety
2. Computer Based Training courses (CBT)3. Proper use of all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE’s) as required
4. Operate equipment and tools according to established safety standards and regulations
5. Promote all safety and wellness initiatives
** Continuous Improvement
** 1. Support Continuous Improvement initiatives; follow Standard work as it applies to your work area and function
2. Seek input from team to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
3. Maintain 6S and performs 6S duties in area## Qualifications

* EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
** 1. 1 to 2 years manufacturing experience preferred
2. History of acceptable attendance
** KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
** 1. Safety oriented
2. Positive attitude
3. Ability to communicate clearly
4. Ability to trouble shoot and solve problems
5. Ability to create and promote a positive work environment
6. Ability to prioritize and respond accordingly
7. Demonstrate positive company image in attitude, dialogue and appearance
8. Ability to be flexible and open-minded to change; find a better way
9. Ability (thru training) to read and interpret our shop drawings and layouts
10. Able to read tape measure and perform basic math
11. Able to perform against Standard Work
** PHYSICAL DEMANDS &
WORKING CONDITIONS:
** 1. Carry, lift, push and pull up to 100 lbs.
2. Bend/squat repetitively
3. Ability to climb up and down on assembly table (approximate 3 feet elevation)4. Stand for majority of workday
5. Reach above head/shoulders
6. Production environment
7. Exposure to extreme weather conditions
8. Dusty working conditions
9. Exposure to loud mechanical equipment
