Event Assistant Marketing Coordinator

Part-Time Event & Marketing Coordinator (Brainerd Area)

Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience.

• Experience in event planning, marketing, communications, or related field (paid or volunteer)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  Canva or Adobe experience preferred
• Ability to work a set weekly schedule with flexibility for nights and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with event setup and teardown
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing community events and fundraisers
• Build relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and community partners
• Create and schedule marketing content including social media posts and newsletters
• Organize event supplies, signage, and promotional materials
• Track event details, invoices, and donor information
• Represent the organization at events as a professional and friendly ambassador

• Approximately 30 hours per week with a consistent schedule
• Flexible hours with occasional evenings and weekends for events
• Hands‑on experience in event planning and marketing
