Location: Albertville

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Specialist to support our growing marketing and business development efforts within a fast-paced construction environment.

This role works directly with the Marketing Manager to support proposal development, pursuit coordination, and company-wide marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives under deadlines, and is comfortable working with technical teams to gather and develop marketing content.

This position plays a key role in supporting our continued growth across multiple offices, regions, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities Proposal Development & Pursuit Support (Primary Focus)
  • Support the development of proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations for RFQs/RFPs.
  • Assist with interpreting solicitation requirements and organizing submission materials.
  • Collect and maintain project data, team resumes, and past performance information.
  • Format and edit proposals to ensure consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment.
  • Track proposal deadlines, schedules, and submission requirements.
  • Maintain and update project sheets and marketing databases.
Project Marketing & Content Development
  • Coordinate with project managers and field teams to gather:
  • Construction progress updates
  • Photos and milestones
  • Assist in developing project sheets, case studies, and portfolio content.
  • Help maintain a library of project photography and marketing assets.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
  • Assist in managing company social media platforms (Linked In, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Create and schedule content showcasing:
  • Active construction projects
  • Project completions
  • Employee highlights and promotions
  • Community involvement
  • Monitor engagement and support basic reporting.
Website Management
  • Assist with updates to the company website (Word Press or similar), including:
  • Employee profiles
  • News and announcements
  • Ensure content remains current and aligned with company branding.
Events, Sponsor ships & Industry Engagement
  • Support coordination of:
  • Groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings
  • Project milestone celebrations
  • Industry events and networking functions
  • Assist with sponsorship tracking, event logistics, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate invitations and event communications.
Awards & Industry Submissions
  • Assist with preparation and submission of industry awards (e.g., project awards, workplace recognition).
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather narratives, photos, and supporting documentation.
Company Communications
  • Assist in developing internal and external communications, including:
  • Company newsletters
  • Project announcements
  • Employee updates
  • Help draft and format email communications and announcements.
Branding & Marketing Materials
  • Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all materials.
  • Support creation of:
  • Proposal graphics and layouts
  • Social media graphics
  • Event and promotional materials
  • Assist with ordering and managing branded materials and company swag.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred OR minimum 2 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and PowerPoint)
Design & Marketing Tools
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign and/or Canva strongly preferred
  • Ability to assist with formatting proposals, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Experience with Word Press or website management is a plus
