Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for all facets of marketing. Key responsibilities include overseeing digital and print collateral, brand management, market research, public relations, community outreach, and maintaining productive relationships with referral sources, discharge planners, and community partners to ensure organizational success.
Qualifications: Degree in Marketing or related field and experience.
Successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication, strong time management skills, ability to work independently, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work load. Skill in researching information, conducting studies, preparing statistical data and reports for COO. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, familiar with Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Must have an extensive knowledge of relevant marketing strategy and exhibit the ability to communicate and administer marketing and sales related content or strategy consistently.
The Marketing Coordinator is also required to have an ability to read, write and speak English, and complete and pass a state required background study form which checks for certain criminal convictions or serious maltreatment.
General Responsibilities:
- Will support and have a presence in multi-site locations as it relates to all facets of Marketing.
- Assist COO in developing and executing annual sales and marketing plans and programs, both short and long range.
- Manage marketing and sales process and procedures for MCHS and affiliate organizations.
- Conduct regular market research to determine the marketing approach and strategy of MCHS and its affiliate organizations, monitor trends.
- Build relationships with referral sources (clinical and community) to successfully achieve census and occupancy goals throughout the organization using a variety of methods.
- Is informed of the full range of services Minnewaska Community Health Services offers and will advocate and promote internally among employees and externally in the community.
- Responsible for digital and print collateral materials and strategy to maximize marketing efforts.
- Create marketing and sales content and distribute across applicable platforms and mediums including social media.
- Manage the social media pages for multiple platforms for MCHS and affiliate organizations. Strategize and post content. Identify and provide oversite to contact at each location to help with gathering shareable content.
- Maintain and manage Google Listing accounts for all locations and business lines.
- Update the website and other platforms as necessary to keep current and fresh.
- Assess brand awareness on an ongoing basis to develop strategies to grow and improve the brand of MCHS and affiliate organizations.
- Work with COO to create and execute full brand awareness campaigns.
- Continually update and modify practices to keep marketing consistent and occupancy levels high.
- Maintain branding guide and update as necessary.
- Coordinate and participate in events and ensure presence at community events applicable to our organization. Work with employees to assist in events as needed.
- Oversee and manage a reward and recognition program at the organizational level.
- Oversee the company wide newsletter program, for MCHS and affiliate organizations.
- Assist with the Annual Fundraiser where needed.
- Coordinate and oversee community education.
- Must be available to travel to all locations of MCHS and management contract locations.
- Support and reinforce Minnewaska Community Health Services’ mission, vision and beliefs and incorporate them into every customer interaction.
- Basic competencies of dementia management, infection control and other areas as identified through the facility assessment.
- Knowledge, skills and abilities required by OSHA Hazard communication, HIPPA, QAPI and other organizations.
- Respond to emergency codes, ie: fire
- Other duties as assigned by COO and/or Human Resources.
