40 hours

• Work day shifts including every other weekend and holiday
• Full-time – work 72 hours bi-weekly
• Nurture a family‑based care environment by learning about each person and serving their needs
• Perform basic care of patients under the general supervision of an RN in an acute hospital setting
• Transport and transfer patients within the medical complex safely and efficiently
• Assist with data collection to facilitate delivery of delegated nursing care

• Work closely under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Physically able to lift heavy objects, push, pull, reach and squat regularly
• Accurately document each resident in an electronic medical record; familiar with basic computer use
• Assist with basic care for patients in nutrition, elimination, comfort, mobility and safety
• Ensure patient safety
• Participate in CNA meetings and unit staff meetings
• Participate in quality improvement activities to continually improve patient care and unit operations
• Perform other job‑related responsibilities as requested by the Director of Nursing
• Maintain flexible and predictable attendance
• Transport and transfer patients using appropriate equipment and safety precautions based on patient health status
• Assist nursing staff in lifting and ambulating patients using guidelines
• Maintain environment and equipment
• Demonstrate dependability, organizational skills and effective time management by setting priorities and meeting unit guidelines
• Adhere to Mission statement, policies and confidentiality standards

• Minnesota Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• If you do not have CNA certification, we will pay for it and can start you as a Nursing Assistant
• Current infant–adult basic life support for health care providers with hands‑on learning (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

• $19.57 per hour plus increase for experience
• $2,500 sign‑on bonus for CNAs after 6 months (taxes apply, not applicable if hired as Nursing Assistant)
