Nurse 1:1 - Eagle View Elementary

Location:

New Prague (MN), 26-27 school year.

Schedule:

7:45 am – 3:45 pm (approx. 7 hours per day).

Under the direction of the Licensed School Nurse (LSN) and district policies, the Nurse 1:1 is responsible for implementing individual student health plans, caring for ill and injured students, administering medication, maintaining student health records, and working with students, parents, and staff to maintain the health and wellbeing of all.

• Provide individualized 1:1 care for two students during the school day, supporting one student in the morning session and a second student in the afternoon.
• Focus exclusively on one student at a time to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Implement individual student health plans and administer medication as required.
• Maintain accurate student health records and use the electronic medical record system.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, physician orders, and district policies.
• Exercise confidentiality in handling district information.
• Prioritize tasks and work independently or in a team environment.
• Apply knowledge of relevant health laws, guidelines, and rules pertaining to student health care and nursing care services.

Education/Certification/Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.
• Current LPN or RN license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Experience:

• Two or more years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Previous experience working with an electronic medical record system preferred.

Position Type:
Part‑Time

Salary: $25.90 to $27.20 per hour
