Dialysis RN at Altru Rehabilitation Hospital provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, ensuring personalized care plans and patient education. The role requires collaboration within an interdisciplinary team in a supportive healthcare environment focused on rehabilitation and patient quality of life.

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients receiving hemodialysis.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Educate nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient, equipment use, and standards of care.

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.
• CRRN certification preferred (training provided if not held).
• Minimum six months of dialysis nursing experience required.
• Preferred one year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
