RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant - Part Time - Walker Clinic

Job Description

Essentia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to serve in our family practice at the Walker Clinic in Walker, Minnesota.

The position is full‑time, working 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, two weekdays one week and three weekdays the next. No weekend, holiday, or on‑call rotations are required.

• Provide patient care in primary and specialty outpatient settings, including telehealth encounters.
• Apply the nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Make independent decisions and take action to promote health and provide optimal care, recognizing that health is a universal right.

• Assist RN, physicians, and other providers with direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting.
• Perform procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
• Care for patients ranging from newborn to elderly, as specified by age‑related categories.

• RN:
  Current licensure with the Minnesota state board of nursing upon hire.
• LPN:
  Current licensure with the Minnesota state board of nursing upon hire.
• CMA:
  Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant or verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program with certification within one year of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts.
• All applicants: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

Hourly Range for RN: $33.94 – $50.91 per hour, depending on experience.

Hourly Range for LPN/CMA: $21.72 – $32.58 per hour.
