Position: RN - Long Term Care - Full Time
Location: Howard Lake

Position Overview

Full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) – Full‑Time PM Nurse Position. Evening shifts: 2:00p.m.–10:30p.m. 64 hours every two weeks (32 hours per week). Pay: base wage $38.00‑$48.00 per hour (depending on experience), plus $1.25 per hour for hours after 6p.m. and for weekend hours.

Job Summary

The RN is responsible for using the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge.
  • Provide care for residents in all phases of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide education, and perform various nursing interventions.
  • May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within job descriptions, skill levels, and competence.
  • Provide assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of concerns.
  • Operate within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and administrative rules of the state of practice and licensure.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure acceptable if in NLC state.
  • Maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
