A PRN RN position requires at least 6 shifts per month, including one weekend per month. Work with the staffing coordinator to create a schedule that works for you. 8, 10, or 12‑hour shifts are available. Shift differential applies for evenings, nights, and weekend work.

Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The RN collaborates with residents, families, and inter‑disciplinary colleagues—including providers—to plan, implement and evaluate care. The RN demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise, using appropriate age and population‑specific standards. The role includes preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
The RN coordinates care, performs resident assessment and education, and implements various nursing interventions.
The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within job descriptions and competency levels, providing support to ensure safe, reliable resident care. The RN functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and administrative rules of the state of practice and licensure.
QualificationsGraduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice occurs, and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state. Maintains required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
