Registered Nurse (RN)

Travels for a 13-week assignment in long-term care or geriatric settings near Morris, Minnesota. The role delivers comprehensive nursing care to elderly patients, supporting facility protocols and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to elderly patients in a long-term care setting, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and state regulations.
  • Assess patients' health status, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor progress throughout shifts.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies accurately and safely as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and address any changes in condition.
  • Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations thoroughly in electronic health records to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Qualifications:
    • Valid RN license from an accredited nursing program
    • BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
    • CPR certification
    • Nursing license verification
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing
    • Experience working with elderly patients in a clinical setting
    • Familiarity with LTC facility protocols
    • Ability to work 36 hours per week on day shifts
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Physical stamina to stand and move continuously during shifts
