Registered Nurse (RN)

Travels for a 13-week assignment in long-term care or geriatric settings near Morris, Minnesota. The role delivers comprehensive nursing care to elderly patients, supporting facility protocols and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to elderly patients in a long-term care setting, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and state regulations.

Assess patients' health status, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor progress throughout shifts.

Administer medications, treatments, and therapies accurately and safely as prescribed by physicians.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and address any changes in condition.

Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations thoroughly in electronic health records to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license from an accredited nursing program
BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
CPR certification
Nursing license verification
Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing
Experience working with elderly patients in a clinical setting
Familiarity with LTC facility protocols
Ability to work 36 hours per week on day shifts
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Physical stamina to stand and move continuously during shifts
