Job Summary:

Geriatric Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Harmony, Minnesota. The role involves providing nursing care in a long‑term care facility and clinic, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position offers flexible 8‑hour and 12‑hour PM/NOC variable shifts. The candidate must be available to start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of acceptance.

• Schedule:
  
  Minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Associate Degree or Certificate, MN Registered Nurse (RN) License, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 2+ years RN experience with at least 1 year in long‑term care, COVID Vaccine (exemptions considered)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Matrix Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
• Float Requirements:
  Will be required to float to Gundersen Tweeten (25 miles apart) as needed
• Other Requirements:
  • Candidate must start medical compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer (24 hours for quick start)
  • 35‑bed long‑term care unit, night shift includes 1 nurse and 2 CNAs, day/evening shifts include a charge nurse handling treatments, PRNs, and narcotics, along with another nurse or TMA passing medications
  • Scrub colors should be work appropriate solids or prints
  • GSA is not guaranteed during orientation week; set hours are guaranteed during the assignment, except during holidays when the unit is closed
  • Billing occurs Monday through Sunday; orientation hours are unbillable
  • Due to Minnesota Statute 144A, all hours worked are at all‑inclusive rate caps, including overtime and holiday pay
