Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly.

0.6 FTE. Covers the emergency department for one 24‑hour shift per week. Salary starting bonus $20,000 pro‑rated to FTE. Preference for candidates with 2+ years of practice experience in Emergency Medicine settings.

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Family Medicine and ER advanced practice experience required.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse (if NP) or nurse practitioner / physician assistant in appropriate state.
• Current certification in CPR and national certification in applicable area.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.

• Provide advanced health assessment and decision-making for patients of all ages.
• Work independently and collaborate with physicians and other health professionals.
• Implement health promotion and disease prevention strategies.
• Maintain high level of customer service and positive relationships with patients and coworkers.
• Complete documentation and quality metrics in accordance with hospital policies.

Compensation range: $59.66 - $83.53 per hour. Bonuses and quality incentives may be available.
