Job DescriptionOverall duties of the Director of Nursing
- Supervising and reviewing nursing staff.
- Overseeing the department budgets.
- Reporting to high-level staff members.
- Maintaining high standards of care.
- Managing patients' data and medical records.
- Interacting with doctors, patients and family members.
Prior experience preferred as a DON well as having at least 4 years working in a skilled facility. Experience as a MDS coordinator is also a plus if no experience as a DON.
