The RN provides clinical leadership to the neighborhoods ensuring the mission, vision, and values of the organization are supported through the clinical services of the neighborhoods. The RN participates in planning, organizing, directing and facilitating the clinical operations of the household to ensure regulatory compliance, nurture a person-centered and resident directed culture, and promote individual and team learning in the household.

The RN provides each resident with professional licensed nursing assessments and evaluations and coordinates their care with other nursing staff in the household.

• Provides leadership to clinical staff from all households on specific areas of clinical accountability.
• Guides the implementation of clinical policies and procedures ensuring safe, sanitary, and efficient practices supporting professional nursing care standards.
• Guides all household clinical staff to support organizational fiscal viability through efficient use of all resources.
• Fosters collaboration, consensus, and negotiation to address problem solving in the household, ensuring all clinical policies are maintained and communicated.
• Maintains a professional working relationship with physicians, other medical professionals, and other departments within Life Care.
• Dementia Sensitivity: demonstrate and nurture care practices for persons with dementia that meet needs while promoting individualized person-centered care and sense of well‑being.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in skilled nursing (preferred).
• BLS certification.
• Specialized training or experience in geriatric nursing (preferred).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to provide person-centered care.
• Knowledge of federal & state regulations governing clinical care, nursing practice, and leadership.
