Registered Nurse – Outpatient Cardiology

Role

The Care Team RN provides nursing care in the Cardiology Outpatient Practice, focusing on Valve and Structural Heart Disease Clinics. Responsibilities include pre-visit preparation, direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. The RN collaborates with healthcare providers and team members, supporting professional practice across settings and the care continuum.

• Planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care
• Delegating patient care based on skill and resources
• Leading quality improvement initiatives
• Mentoring and teaching
• Participating in committees and projects

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least one year of RN experience, with preferred cardiac background and BSN
• Must hold an active RN license, BLS certification, and other state-specific certifications
• Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills are essential
