** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and immediate post-operative assessment, planning, and evaluation of surgical patients.

+ Prepare the operating room, ensuring equipment, instruments, and sterile field meet AORN standards and patient-specific needs.

+ Circulate and/or scrub for diverse surgical procedures, actively anticipating surgeon's needs and maintaining patient safety.

+ Accurately document all aspects of patient care, surgical events, and interventions in the electronic health record.

+ Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes.

+ Implement nursing interventions delegated, ordered, or prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider within the perioperative setting.

+ Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique, infection control protocols, and patient safety initiatives (e.g., time-out).

** Job Requirements*

* + Graduate of accredited professional nursing education program.

+ Registered Nurse Licensed by the State of Minnesota.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

+ Obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one (1) year of start date.

** Preferred*
* + OR/PACU experience.

* $41.22 - $55.42 /hour
