Job Summary
:
The Ambulatory Care RN under the direction of the Clinic Nurse Supervisor, and/or Director of Clinic Operations, will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide direct care to patients in the Clinic setting. Provide and assist with Wound care, Care Coordination, Chronic Disease Management, Patient Education/Teaching, Triage functions as needed, and various other nursing services and interventions.
- MN RN Licensure
- BLS Certification
- Associate’s degree in nursing
- Clinic experience 1 year minimum (LPN or RN)
- Anticoagulation, Diabetic, Wound, and/or Chronic Disease Management Certification
- Background knowledge of Registration and/or Patient Access functions.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- At least 3 years of Clinic experience (LPN or RN), continuing education toward BSN or Public Health Certification.
