All you need is:

  • To be at least 16 years old
What You'll Be Doing:

Tasks may include:

  • Provide care for animals, ensuring they have access to food, water and a comfortable environment
  • Assist with movement of animals
  • Assist with treating and vaccinating animals
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Promote a safe work environment
  • Maintain PQA certification status (provided on the job)
  • Follow all SFI bio‑security policies and procedures
  • Exhibit strong teamwork, including working to achieve team goals, embracing new technologies, working on new projects, etc.
  • Demonstrate Schwartz Farms' values of integrity, respect, excellence and adaptability
  • Advocate and engage in SFI's animal welfare policy, including promoting animal well‑being, remedying circumstances which impede animal care, and properly reporting instances of mistreatment or abuse
  • Additional duties may be assigned as they arise
