Poultry Caretaker

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our egg production team as a poultry caretaker. In this hands-on role, you'll help care for laying hens, maintain clean barns, collect eggs, and support daily farm operations while following animal welfare and biosecurity standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Care for laying hens by monitoring their health and well-being
• Keep barns clean, organized, and sanitary
• Ensure birds have continuous access to feed and water
• Monitor egg collection equipment and maintain egg flow
• Perform routine bird and egg checks
• Report equipment, ventilation, or maintenance concerns
• Complete daily records and documentation
• Follow all farm safety, biosecurity, and PPE requirements
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Perform other farm duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a physically active environment
• Able to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Previous farm or livestock experience is helpful but not required—we're willing to train the right candidate

Pay range: $18 - $21/hour
