Seasonal Agronomy Laborer - Driver

Meadowland Farmers Coop proudly serves 15 small town communities in Southwest Minnesota providing Agronomy, Grain, Energy and Feed services.

We are currently seeking a Seasonal Agronomy Laborer - Driver at our Sanborn, MN location.

Job Overview Meadowland Farmers Coop agronomy locations throughout Southwest Minnesota provide high quality fertilizer, seed and crop production products and agronomy and technical services, including crop input planning and fertilizer and chemical application, using our state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

The Agronomy Laborer – Driver is an integral part of the location team by supporting agronomy operations at the agronomy facility and at the customer’s farming locations.

Job Responsibilities Adhere to all workplace safety, product safety, and environmental regulations.

Work alongside agronomy operations staff to safely deliver and distribute agronomy products.

Assist with inventory management and warehouse procedures.

As qualified, safely operate facility material handling equipment.

Assisting with maintenance projects around the facility.

Other facility-related tasks assigned by the Location Manager Due to the seasonality of our business and as business conditions require, this position will perform work tasks for other company agronomy locations and other company departments including Feed, Grain, Energy, Bins, Shops, etc. as directed by their Location Manager.

Requirements High school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Detail oriented with high level of accuracy.

Dependable and punctual.

Eagerness to jump in and help the team as needed.

Desired Requirements Class A CDLWork Environment/Physical Demands Employee must be physically able to perform all requirements of the job, including but not limited to using hands to finger, handle or feel, seeing, hearing, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
