Greenhouse Supervisor

Pleasant View Gardens is hiring a Greenhouse Supervisor / Lead Grower to help lead daily greenhouse operations, support staff, and ensure exceptional plant quality for our high-end residential and commercial clients.

This is a seasonal position with strong potential for full-time, year-round employment for the right candidate.

• Lead and support 2–6 greenhouse team members
• Perform & oversee daily plant care: watering, fertilizing, deadheading, sanitation, and growth regulation
• Assist with plant inventory, ordering, receiving, labeling, and pulling
• Identify pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies and apply corrective treatments
• Maintain greenhouse equipment and fertilization programs
• Coordinate materials for seasonal container displays and client orders
• Train, mentor, and coach staff to company standards
• Support garden maintenance teams during peak season (June–November)
• Ensure safety, quality control, and excellent communication across teams

• You have 2+ years of greenhouse growing experience
• You’ve led or supervised others and enjoy coaching and developing people
• You take pride in organization, plant health, and quality results
• You enjoy both leadership and hands-on horticulture

• Seasonal position with opportunity to transition to full-time, year-round employment for the right candidate
• Start date = beginning of March 2026
• Morning, mid-day, and evening shifts (up to 8 PM)
• Some weekend work required
• Full-time hours available (32-40 hours/week)

• Valid Driver’s License (Class
  
  D)
• MN Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures
