About the Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager or Supervisor for a food production/manufacturing company in Long Prairie, MN. In this role, you’ll lead plant-wide quality initiatives, ensure compliance with food safety regulations, and help build a culture focused on continuous improvement and product excellence. What You’ll Do as a Quality Manager
  • Lead food safety and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
  • Oversee and implement SQF, GMP, and SOP programs across production and packaging operations
  • Monitor quality performance and partner with production leaders to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits and ensure corrective actions are completed
  • Develop and train employees to build plant-wide quality awareness and accountability
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues while recommending process improvements
What You Need to Bring to the Quality Manager Role
  • 5+ years of experience leading SQF or similar food safety programs (preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, including food production or packaging
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (GFSI, SQF, GMPs, food safety requirements)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
