Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of global quality standards and best practices across the organization
• Lead and support OEM customer quality requirements, including audits, print reviews, compliance, and documentation
• Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, including implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure alignment with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to enable successful product launches
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies using statistical analysis and quality tools
• Drive integration of Process Flows, PFMEA, Control Plans, and CAPA processes
• Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain product and process quality requirements
• Assist with customer communication related to audits, nonconformances, and technical concerns
• Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality systems and standards

• Strong knowledge of core quality tools: APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP
• Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, root cause analysis)
• Experience with ISO methodologies and certification maintenance
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of continuous improvement principles
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and technical systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality required
• Equivalent experience may be considered:
• High School Diploma + 10+ years of related quality experience
• Trade School Diploma + 3+ years of related quality experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or supplier quality

• Standing/walking on a hard surface
• Occasional lifting of 25-50 lbs. / Frequent lifting of 10-24 lbs.
• Occasionally carry 25-50 lbs. / Frequently carry 10-24 lbs.

This role supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality standards to manage risk, ensure compliance, and promote continuous improvement across manufacturing and supplier operations. The Quality Engineer plays a critical role in product validation, supplier quality, and ensuring successful new product introductions and ongoing production quality.
