Quality Assurance Technician – Willing to Train Machinists

Hiring Basis:
Direct hire.

Hours:

1st shift, 8‑hour day, open to working any hours between 6 am‑5 pm, Monday‑Friday.

Location:

Spring Lake Park, MN 55432. Pay: $25‑$35 per hour (W2).

Lotus Technical has a direct hire opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician on the day shift at a precision grinding and machining shop located in Spring Lake Park, MN. The position is contingent on a criminal background check and drug test. The role requires U.S. citizenship or a green‑card holder who is local to the MN area; relocations are not accepted.

• Receive, perform in‑process and final inspections, tool calibrations, and maintain records.
• Work closely with staff and customers to resolve quality issues and ensure proper part flow.
• Support the machining and grinding team to meet quality standards.

• 2+ years of QA experience in manufacturing, precision machining, or precision grinding.
• Willingness to train an experienced machinist or grinder looking to transition to a QA role.
• Ability to set up and use inspection equipment: calipers, gage blocks, micrometers, radius gages, CMM, etc.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a UA screen/drug test.
• Strong math skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Can work with minimal supervision.
• Must be U.S. citizen or green‑card holder.
• Must be local to the MN area; no relocations.
