JOB OVERVIEW

Tolerance Masters LLC is a precision machine shop located in Circle Pines, MN. We specialize in the manufacturing of close tolerance flight safety and critical performance machines parts and sub-assemblies.

HOURS

Second shift:
Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am
Friday:
Opportunity for overtime

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined components using calibrated measuring tools
  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
  • Use precision inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, and Zeiss CMMs
  • Document inspections results and maintain accurate quality records according to ISO 9001/AS9100 standards
  • Identify and report non-conformances; assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities
  • Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment and gages
  • Work closely with CNC machinists and the production team to provide real-time feedback and promote quality at the source
  • Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspect within aerospace or precision manufacturing
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and FAA regulatory requirements
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Proficient with a wide range of hand and digital measuring tools
  • Familiarity with quality documentation and inspection reporting
  • Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Excel and quality software system.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in quality manufacturing a plus
