JOB OVERVIEW
Tolerance Masters LLC is a precision machine shop located in Circle Pines, MN. We specialize in the manufacturing of close tolerance flight safety and critical performance machines parts and sub-assemblies.
HOURSSecond shift:
Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am
Friday:
Opportunity for overtime
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined components using calibrated measuring tools
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
- Use precision inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, and Zeiss CMMs
- Document inspections results and maintain accurate quality records according to ISO 9001/AS9100 standards
- Identify and report non-conformances; assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities
- Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment and gages
- Work closely with CNC machinists and the production team to provide real-time feedback and promote quality at the source
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspect within aerospace or precision manufacturing
- Knowledge of AS9100 and FAA regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Proficient with a wide range of hand and digital measuring tools
- Familiarity with quality documentation and inspection reporting
- Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Excel and quality software system.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in quality manufacturing a plus
