QA Inspector Prod

Overview

In the QA Inspector position, you will perform routine testing on quality of in-process or finished goods according to Company standards, customer specifications, and any applicable regulatory standards. This person also collects samples and performs assigned inspection tasks using various types of equipment. In this role, you will also ensure that documentation is complete and accurate. The QA Inspector performs in-process inspections utilizing visual and technical measurement methods to accept or reject product to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company/regulatory standards.

This opening is on a 6&3 rotation schedule
. You will work 6 days and have 3 days off in a row!

• Perform routine testing on in-process or finished goods according to company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory standards.
• Collect samples and perform inspection tasks using various equipment.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Conduct in-process inspections using visual and measurement methods to determine accept/reject decisions.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and company/regulatory standards.

• Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and professional drawings.
• Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Present information to and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Read and interpret blueprints correctly.
• Use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong leadership skills.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed, but non-engaging, written and oral instructions.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
• Depth perception, close vision, and color vision are continuously required.
• Interact with all levels of leadership and supervisory staff.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Apply abstract concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Technical tools used in this position:
  Calipers / Micrometers, Surface plates, Optical comparators, CMM / FARO arm.

Hourly pay range is $20.00 to $22.00 DOQ
