Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform incoming material inspections per documented procedures by interpreting engineering drawings and testing / inspecting product using a variety of metrologies including, but not limited to: calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, pin gages, optical comparators.
- Maintain incoming quality inspection files including, but not limited to: current print revision levels, material certifications, and inspection logs, Supplier Part Approvals.
- Update and maintain the Certified Supplier List as required per documented procedures.
- Implement supplier non-conforming material process per documented procedures including but not limited to: obtaining Return Goods Authorization from suppliers for rejected materials, debit memos, Supplier Corrective Action Requests.
- Facilitate MRB activities per documented procedures, including but not limited to: facilitating MRB meetings, updating and maintaining MDR and SAP.
- Facilitate the Warranty and Annual Returns Process per documented procedures including, but not limited to: returned product evaluations, performing required SAP transactions, and communicating claim status and disposition to customers.
- Provide support to Quality Engineers, Production, and Design Engineers as needed.

Education
- Vocational Degree
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 2 years in quality assurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including: customer / supplier interaction and communications.
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, specifications and manuals.
Base Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00
Compensation DisclosureAt Phillips and Temro Industries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is listed above. Your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location. The final salary offer will be based on these criteria and may differ based on the candidate's experience and qualifications and other job-related reasons.
