Food Safety & Quality Supervisor

Insight Global is looking to hire a Food Safety & Quality Supervisor to join a large food manufacturing client at their facility in Long Prairie, MN. This would be a permanent role, with strong growth opportunities across the company and available at a 1st shift schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4-6 quality auditors to manage product quality and achieve quality standards.

You will be involved in supporting the management in the implementation of food safety and food quality processes and procedures. This role is very hands on, being in the production area for roughly 60% of the shift plus additional remaining office tasks. Insight Global is looking for candidates who are looking for long term career opportunities, and the chance to further develop leadership skills within food manufacturing and quality.

The pay range for this position ranges between $80,000-$90,000 annually, and is open to candidates available to relocate to Long Prairie.

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Animal Science, Nutrition and/or related degree
• 2+ years of experience in a food safety and quality supervisory role, within a manufacturing environment

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience:

• Food Safety and Quality related certifications

Strong communication skills, and the ability to coach and develop those apart of the team and communicate with leadership

Ability to relocate down the line for upward mobility

Strong experience managing team members and coordinating shift schedules
