Description
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Purpose:
Perform precision inspection of production products and perform Calibration of gages
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
- To provide metrology support and assistance to manufacturing and engineering
- Perform First Article inspections
- Perform capability studies
- Perform Gage R&R studies
- Perform basic CMM inspections as assigned and under guidance of QA Tech II or QE
- Perform basic calibration, gage set up and repair as assigned and under guidance of QA Tech II or QE.
- Preform and complete documentation for Final Audits
- Coordinate containment and tagging of Nonconforming product. Generate Nonconformance Reports
- Comply with all Work Instructions
- Comply with client's Quality Management System
- Generate and release Certification of Compliance
- Review and supply inspection data using applicable software and or forms
- Participate in cross-functional teams as needed
- Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives.
- Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge and experience to accurately operate standard measurement equipment
- Ability to read and follow instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
- Using computer software - Microsoft Office, Outlook, and infopath-type software
- Reference OJT
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs, rarely lifting up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand up to 100% of shift
- Ability to do repetitive movements (i.e. bending, twisting, walking)
