Now hiring R & D Food Technologist

Location: Long Prairie, MN

Salary: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in food product development, R&D, or food manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge of food formulation, commercialization, and product development processes
  • Strong understanding of food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Passion for food innovation and continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Job Duties
  • Develop and commercialize innovative pasta, macaroni and cheese, and prepared pasta products
  • Support new product development from concept through commercialization
  • Collaborate with marketing, R&D, product development, and operations teams to launch new products
  • Conduct product testing, formulation, and process improvements
  • Evaluate ingredients, materials, and manufacturing processes to optimize product quality and performance
  • Assist with product trials, validations, and scale‑up activities
  • Ensure products meet quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to identify new product opportunities
  • Maintain accurate product development documentation and technical records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other R&D projects as assigned
