Kitchen Manager
Kitchen Manager at Brown County Jail
If you're tired of your current restaurant job & you have some cooking skills (being a great cook at home works too), this is a job for you!
Great Wages & Benefits (we pay for experience)
Hours from 10am - 615pm
No late nights or early mornings
Rotate weekend shift
Very low, to no stress work environment
No inmate contact
Works alone
Food Service Director responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing a team
- Scheduling labor
- Controlling profit and loss
- Maintaining inventory
- Ordering food and supplies
- Cooking daily meals
- Building rapport with the client
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior management experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Use of commercial kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow a recipe and standardized menu
- Basic computer skills
- Available to work weekends and holidays when needed
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
