Starting Hourly Rate: $18.00 USD per hour

The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent experience by keeping products fresh, in stock, accurately priced, and properly signed on the sales floor. They are responsible for replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by:
  • Greet the guest courteously: 10ft: friendly smile, eye contact, wave; 4ft: greet, smile, and initiate a warm interaction
  • Help guests find what they need or resolve issues
  • End every transaction with a sincere thank you
  • Actively support team efforts and assist peers
  • Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an inspiring experience
  • Deliver an exceptional experience by prioritizing guests’ needs over tasks
  • Uphold Food & Beverage Standards
  • Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, inventory accuracy, etc.
  • Always be aware of current and future promotions within Starbucks
  • Follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver consistent experience efficiently
  • Support Starbucks Drive Up process to fulfill digital orders accurately and on time
  • Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout shift
  • Engage with guests to exceed expectations based on Starbucks standards
  • Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications
  • Follow all food safety requirements, monitor temperatures, record temperature‑sensitive items
  • Complete and record all cleaning tasks
  • Locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process accordingly
  • Ensure accurate in‑stocks by placing store‑initiated orders based on best practices
  • Follow perishable inventory procedures for accuracy
  • Execute sampling best practices
  • Complete training requirements and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
  • Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies; report hazards
  • Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, OPU, and Drive‑up, ensuring compliance with adult beverage laws
  • All other duties based on business needs

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times.

• Previous Starbucks or food‑service experience is preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple‑frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi‑step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.
• Interpret instructions, reports and information.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb up and down ladders if needed.
• Efficiently and safely scan, handle and move merchandise, including lifting up to 10 lb and occasionally up to 44 lb.
• Flexible work schedule: nights, weekends, holidays; come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks.
• Work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and handle allergens.
• Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties such as Drive‑Ups, carry‑out, etc.
• Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
