Support venue operations by creating positive guest interactions and assisting team members through safe, age-appropriate tasks that contribute to memorable Guest experiences. What You’ll Own Guest Interaction + First Impressions Greet Guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude and help create a positive first impression

Assist in guiding Guests to appropriate areas or team members for support

Communicate basic venue information such as wait expectations or directions under supervision

Service Flow Support Contribute to and learn how the venue operates, including seating flow, food delivery, and team coordination

Assist team members with non-hazardous support tasks such as menu distribution or table support

Help maintain smooth service flow by staying attentive and supporting team needs to enhance the Guest experience

Dining Area + Cleanliness Support Assist with maintaining clean and organized dining and guest areas

Help clear, reset, or tidy tables in accordance with youth-safe guidelines

Support stocking of approved front-of-house supplies

Guest Experience Impact Create positive moments through small, thoughtful actions

Help create a fun, engaging, and welcoming environment for all Guests Understand how your role contributes to the overall Guest experience

Safety + Teamwork Follow direction to complete tasks safely in accordance with youth labor laws and restrictions

Work as part of a team to support smooth and efficient operations

Communicate questions or concerns to leaders or team members appropriately

Access + Compliance Restrictions This role is not permitted to handle cash, gaming chips, or any gaming-related materials

This role is not permitted to process transactions, operate POS systems, or access secured areas where cash or gaming supplies are stored

All tasks are strictly limited to supervised, non-custodial responsibilities

Youth Ambassadors will not be assigned duties that classify the role as a Custodian of gaming supplies or cash Learning + Development Participate in feedback sessions and learning discussions

Observe experienced team members to build hospitality and service skills

Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring Must be 15–17 years of age at program start

Interest in guest service or hospitality

Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Positive attitude and reliable attendance

Must be able to secure and maintain a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA)
Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s)
Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process

Work Requirements and Environment This role operates in guest-facing venue environments with frequent interaction with Guests and team members. Work includes standing, walking, and assisting with light support tasks such as table organization and guest guidance. Tasks are structured, supervised, and performed in a safe, non-hazardous manner in compliance with youth labor guidelines.#FB2
