Legacy of Delano, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Culinary Assistant (Part Time) to join our growing team!
Legacy of Delano is a fun‑filled Senior Living Facility located right off Highway 12 in Delano, near Coborn’s. It has 51 total units across Assistant Living, Independent, and Memory Care Apartments. The community is growing and we have compassionate team members who help our residents AGE Magnificently.
Position: Culinary Assistant
Hourly: $15.50 - $20.50 hourly, depending on experience
Schedule: Part‑time PM, 3pm – 6:30pm
Option 1, 0.4 FTE – Week 1:
Sunday and Monday / Week 2:
Monday and Saturday
Option 2, 0.4 FTE – Week 1:
Tuesday and Thursday / Week 2:
Tuesday and Thursday

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, distribution, and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident well‑being.
- Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
- Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays when applicable.
- Deliver nourishment and snacks appropriately.
- Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
- Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience in a senior living setting preferred.
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.
