What You'll Do- Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
- Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and served attractively
- Assist with menu planning and special diets as directed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure high-quality service and resident satisfaction
- Previous cooking experience preferred (healthcare/long-term care setting a plus)
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary restrictions accurately
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
