Beverage Cart Server – Job Description Position Summary

The Beverage Cart Server is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality to golfers throughout their round by preparing, selling, and serving beverages and snacks from the on‑course beverage cart. This role ensures a friendly, efficient, and well‑stocked service experience that enhances the overall enjoyment of the course.

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all golfers with a positive, welcoming attitude.
• Operate the beverage cart safely and professionally across the course.
• Prepare and serve beverages
  , including alcoholic drinks, in compliance with state liquor laws and club policies.
• Maintain product stock levels
  , restocking beverages, snacks, ice, and supplies as needed.
• Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
  , following club procedures.
• Promote and upsell products to maximize revenue.
• Monitor pace of play and course conditions
  , communicating any issues to the golf shop or management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the cart, coolers, and storage areas throughout the shift.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Provide support for tournaments and special events as needed.

• Previous customer service, hospitality, or serving experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service in the state.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Team‑focused mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed.

• Shifts typically occur during peak golf hours, including early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
• Work is performed outdoors on the golf course with frequent driving of the beverage cart.

• Hourly wage plus tips.
• Additional incentives may apply during tournaments or special events.
