- Deliver an exceptional guest experience: provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self‑checkout, suggest additional products, address guest concerns with urgency, involve managers as needed, foster a team‑oriented, respectful work environment
- Keep our stores stocked & fresh: ensure food and beverage items are available and up to quality standards, restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed, assist in inventory management and restocking
- Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment inside and out: maintain cleanliness in food prep areas, follow all safety regulations, complete regular cleaning tasks, keep the store clean and organized
- Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, process transactions, handle cash and card payments, ensure the register area is clean and stocked with necessary supplies, adhere to cash‑handling policies
- Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns, respond respectfully, recognize when to elevate to shift manager, manage line lengths and provide courteous communication
- Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals, cleaning, and food preparation; ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients, adhere to food safety regulations
- Maintain a flexible, reliable attitude: be reliable team player by arriving on time, supporting teammates, sharing important information, working effectively with individuals from different backgrounds, and engaging with guests politely
- High School Diploma or GED (or in progress)
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment is a plus
- Team player who takes initiative and enjoys working with people
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing
- May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations
