Role summaryFood and Consumable associates focus on customer service and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise to the sales floor and create seasonal displays to meet customer needs.
What you’ll do- Provide frontline customer service in the deli, bakery, and dry grocery departments.
- Create seasonal display features and ensure shelves are clean, well stocked, and products meet quality standards.
- Check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food products.
- Support customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, and selecting produce.
- Strong customer‑service skills and ability to help customers find products.
- Knowledge of high‑quality product standards across produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
- Ability to pack ready‑to‑sell products, prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food, and keep work areas clean and sanitized.
